The Benagil caves are a “must see” when you visit the Algarve, and in terms of “things to do in the Algarve” you can´t miss the private Benagil tour from Portimão onboard a crewed private luxury yacht.

The Benagil sea cave is a huge dome shaped cave with natural openings allowing the sunlight to stream through.

With Private Yacht Charter Portugal you can rent a boat and cruise from Portimão to Carvoeiro along the most amazing part of the already beautiful Algarve’s coast. Visit the Benagil cave and see other lesser known but equally lovely caves.

In certain cases we can arrange pick ups from other locations such as from Marina de Lagos. Always tailored to suit your needs and tastes.

The advantage of a private boat rental is, you can decide together with our local skippers, if you prefer to go searching for wild dolfins, swim and go snorkling, or just simply discover the beauty of th Algarve´s seascapes with its secret beaches. During our cruises we will drop anchor for some time to swim and enjoy the water. Some of the boat options have snorkling gear, some SUP (Stand Up Paddle board), others have an inflatable Kayak to explore Benagil by Kayak.
An absolute highlight is to find the dolphins in their natural habitat. For over 20 years the dolfins have been protected species in Portugal. We keep radio channels open to listen in to any sightings of the dolphins and with our speed we can get there quickly for you to enjoy.

Sunsets and sunsetvibes at sea are always special, and the thrill of experiencing sealife , whatching dolfins on board of a private luxury boat rental with your family and friends is an unforgettable memory made.

Destinations and activities are based on the sea conditions, the weather, and your group wishes. If the sea and weather conditions change, we are prepared and adapt the itineraries so you can allways get the best . Our cruises are subject to the sea conditions of the day, and the swell or wind can affect our ability to approximate or enter the caves.

What do I need to bring with me on the day?

We ask for a 20% deposit to secure a date. The balance payable on the day by cash, or the day before by Visa/ Mastercard.
